About Delhi Police Constable Exam

The Delhi Police Constable examination is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) for recruitment to the post of Constable (Executive) in Delhi Police. The written examination is a Computer Based Test (CBT) consisting of 100 objective-type multiple-choice questions.

The paper is divided into four sections: GK & Current Affairs carries the maximum weightage with 50 questions. General Intelligence & Reasoning has 25 questions. Numerical Ability has 15 questions testing basic arithmetic. Computer Fundamentals carries 10 questions on hardware, software, networking, and MS Office basics.

Each correct answer awards +1 mark and each wrong answer deducts −0.25 marks (negative marking). The total duration is 90 minutes. There is no separate sectional time limit — candidates can attempt questions from any section in any order.
