SSC Tech is the premier route for engineering graduates to become commissioned Indian Army Officers. Service tenure is 10 years (extendable to 14 years).

Exam / Selection Pattern

  • No written exam for SSC Tech entry. Shortlisting is based on B.Tech/B.E. academic percentage.
  • SSB Interview: 5 days covering Psychological tests (TAT, WAT, SRT, SDT), Group Tests (GTO), and Personal Interview with the Board President.
  • Medical: Conducted at designated Military Hospitals after SSB recommendation.
